Responsibility

Facilitate an Open Educator Award, annually and in collaboration with student government, to recognize and celebrate open educators and to inspire their campus peers to explore OE/OER/OP.

How might you make visible your curiosity, uncertainty, thirst for knowledge, and continual learning? How might you encourage learners’ curiosity and inspire them to join you on a mutual quest for learning?

Invite educators into community by presenting opportunities for them to learn, engage, and collaborate with us and with each other in relation to OE/OER/OP.

How might you facilitate learners’ participation in the broader knowledge commons? How might you support learners in seeing themselves as valued voices in the commons and as creators and co-creators of knowledge?

Contribute our good work to the broader OE/OER/OP efforts of external communities and colleagues.

How might you offer students multiple modes of entering into learning experiences involving open practices? How might you share and legitimize multiple ways of making meaning and knowledge in the open?
